Well...!! It's been so long since the last post, sorry and thanks for still keep on visiting this blog. I'm still adapting to the new place, but it's very nice and people are great, too!! It's really awesome to join a team like this.

Bueno, ha pasado mucho tiempo desde el ultimo post, pido perdon y doy las gracias por vuestras visitas a este blog. Todavia estoy en proceso de acostumbrarme a esto de estar en otro lugar, pero es todo muy bonito y la gente es genial!! Es realmente grande formar parte de un equipo como este.

Well. Finally, working hard seems to give several compensations. This evening, I received some awesome, great news: the 1st of July I start working as concept artist at Electronic Arts/PHENOMIC, a studio based in Ingelheim (near Frankfurt, Germany), a development studio focused on the creation of innovative RTS and RPG games for the new generation systems... Wow, an amazing experience: I have to relocate, meet people and places and, of course, work really hard. That's great, I can't wait for all these things to come.... !!
Thank you all for the support all this time, your visits and your comments have been like a battery for 'this' machine... Hope to keep up with my scribbles and my 'little things', and I really hope to have your support all the time. Thanks again. Cheers!! :D

Bueno, parece que trabajar duro da su fruto... Esta tarde he recibido muy buenas noticias: el 1 de Julio empiezo a trabajar como concept artist en Electronic Arts/PHENOMIC, un estudio situado en Ingelheim (Frankfurt, Alemania), enfocado al desarrollo de videojuegos RTS y RPG para soportes de nueva generación... Será una experiencia increíble: conocer gente, lugares y, por supuesto, trabajar muy duro. Es genial, no puedo esperar a empezar....!!

Fijáos en este Mushu! Lo hizo mi primo de 8 años en clase, copiando de la pizarra un dibujo del profe!!! Sus padres dicen que se pasa el día dibujando, que le gusta más que otra cosa y que quiere ser de mayor... adivinad... Os suena de algo, por casualidad? :)

Look at this Mushu! It was made by my cousin of 8 years old at class, copying from the blackboard the drawing of his teacher!!! His parents tells that he's always drawing, that this is what he likes the most and he wants to be in the future... do you predict what? Do you know what is all about?

Últimamente, con esto de los blogs, tengo la oportunidad de descubrir cada día muchísimos talentos, y por supuesto, de sentirme motivado, inspirado y un poco desanimado también, porque hay muchísimo nivel en todas partes, y es difícil mirar luego tu propio trabajo sin ser tremendamente crítico y pesimista. Pero en el fondo es genial, y agradezco y felicito a todos los que mostráis vuestro trabajo en páginas y blogs. Sóis los mejores!

These days, visiting blogs and descovering amazing talents in everywhere, I feel really motivated and inspired, but a little low-spirited too, because the level is so high in everywhere and it's hard to look at my work without being too much critic and pessimist. But it's really great, and I thank and congratulate to all the people that show their work in their blogs and their sites. You are the best!

Estoy intentando escribir una historia, mezcla de fantasía y aventuras, a ver si poco a poco puedo ir convirtiéndolo en un libro de ilustraciones. Trataré de ir colgando algunos bocetos y diseños como estos.

I'm tryin' to write a story, a fantasy and adventures mix, and step by step I hope it will turn into an illustrated book. I'l try tol put some sketches and designs in the blog.

I'm re-designing the character of the kid for the christmas campaign, a little bit older. I'm writing a story for him...

I made some drawings for the Christmas' campaign of a big department store. But finally, it's not goin' on....

A version of one of the amazing 'Bastion's 7' characters, the great self-project 'Cheeks' Galloway is working on. This guy rocks!
